Today, a press conference was held ahead of the match of the 11th round of the SuperSport Croatian Football League with Varaždin, which is scheduled for Friday, September 30, starting at 6:00 PM. At the conference, the match was announced by head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Reda Boultam.
We are playing Varaždin – a team that is doing great this year. They play good football, both collectively and individually. They have been playing and training together for a long time, so they know each other better. I think this is a good opportunity for us – to get experience and hopefully points. In the first match with Varaždin, we were not complete with players, so it was not our best match. I believe that both teams were equal and it should have ended that way. They are a dangerous team, but we have already proven ourselves compared to the beginning. We like to play matches on our home field in Drosina, but now we play several rounds outside, and that is not a problem for us because the players are more and more motivated. We are also grateful for the fact that the fan group follows us at absolutely every game, and we have sympathizers outside our city as well. We need support in both bad and good times, coach Garcia said at the conference.
I made my debut at the match in Koprivnica, I was overjoyed and I also scored a goal. I think that we play good football, with moments of weakness, we are generally positive on the pitch and we have a good experiences as a team. After this short break, we all returned in a motivated mood, eager to train. Varaždin is a strong team and plays quality football, so I expect a good and interesting match. I want us to show our progress and what we can achieve and how hard we train for it. Since I came here, everyone around me has been friendly and I feel very comfortable, said Reda.
