The fan group Demoni was established on March 28, 1992 before the game Istra-Rijeka. By then, there was a fan movement in Pula that was acting since 1989. A small group of people under the name ”Dangerous Devils” were creating exciting atmosphere in gyms, and were regular companions of ”Gradine”.
In 1996/1997 the group was ranked on the sixth place in Croatia. In the beginning, those were fans of NK Istra that played in I. CFF league. With time, Istra dropped to a Third CFF league and club has been shutdown. In meanwhile club from Pula, named Pula 1856 raised to the I. CFF league. Demoni stated that they will support Pula, which didn’t have any organized group of fans, only if they decide to change the name to NK Istra 1961. That happened, and since then Demoni are fans of NK Istra 1961.
The colors of the fan group is green-yellow and the abbreviation of their name and year of group foundation is DP92.
