A press conference was held today ahead of the match of the 33rd round of the SuperSport Croatian Football League with Rijeka, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, starting at 7:10 p.m. At the conference, head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Lovre Knežević announced the match.

We have a tough match ahead of us, against a very good opponent with many qualities, we are certainly expecting a demanding derby. They changed the coach, they brought in 5-6 new players, you can see that their confidence has changed and they started winning.
Last time we won in Rujevica, and that is very possible now, even though they are a different team and have more confidence. Football is a mental game, and if we are all positive, that is definitely a plus. They play aggressively, try to press the opponent and have great individuals, and we need to be smart and play our game, coach Garcia said.

Tomorrow is one of the most beautiful matches, derbies are always special, especially with Rijeka. We have shown during this season that we can beat any team, we have beaten all the top teams, so I think we can get a good result tomorrow as well. We know where they are strong and where they are weak, we have nothing to fear. They have great individuals, but we also have them, both in defense and in the midfield, we are the second team with the fewest goals conceded, that says a lot. I think we can handle any team. I am convinced that our fans will come in large numbers to support us, so we have no reason not to play a good game, said Lovre at the conference.
