Today, a press conference was held on the occasion of the presentation of two new players of Istra 1961, namely Oleksandr Petrusenko and Tino Blaž Lauš. At the conference, they were presented by the sports director, Mr. Saša Bjelanović.

Our two new players are here. Oleksandr is a player who came from Hungarian Honved and signed a contract for two years, with an option to extend. And Tino Blaž Lauš, he has been with us for some time, but we are only introducing him now because of the difficulties with his injury. These are two midfielders who will certainly raise our quality in the midfield – Oleksandr is more defensive and good in duels, while Tino is a modern midfielder, with a very good last season in Posušje, Saša said at the conference.

I’m Oleksandr, a 23-year-old Ukrainian player, I’m happy to be here. I come from the Hungarian league, and this season I hope that we will achieve a good result and finish at least in the middle of the table, said Oleksandr.

I came here from Hajduk on loan, I really like it here. I had problems with the injury, but in two weeks I will be ready to play. I can cover any midfield position, of course I prefer forward, said Tino at the conference.
