Today, a press conference was held ahead of the match of the 10th round of the SuperSport Croatian Football League with Hajduk, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, starting at 7:05 pm. The match was announced at the conference by head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Mateo Lisica.

We have a long way to go and a strong game against one of the best teams in the league. Although they had some changes in the last weeks, they still remained strong, look at their match with Rijeka. It will be a demanding but an  enjoyable match, a good challenge. We are a team that approaches matches with established plans, with room for some changes. We are always more competitive at home, but we will try to turn the game in our favor, organize ourselves in defense and take the ball and try to attack. We need to find space for ourselves in that match, said coach Garcia.

It was nice to finally be back after a three month break. The coach told me that I have to be patient and gradually enter the games. I think we can take all the points on Saturday, because this year we showed team energy and chemistry, so there is no reason why we shouldn’t go there for full three points. We are finally getting used to first league football and the players are communicating more; I think that this chemistry is crucial for us – we play better, understand each other better and “die” together on the field. Let’s go to Split to do our best! Regarding the invitation to the U20 national team, I was really surprised, I have to see with the coach how I will train, and certainly that I am happy and that I will respond positively to the request, Mateo said at the conference.
