Today on press conference we presented the new player of Istra 1961 to the media. The press conference was attended by sports director Dario Dabac and player Joao Silva.
Joao comes to us from Sporting, he turned 22 last month. A member of the U-20 national team, a player we estimated to have a perspective. He plays in the position of right and left stopper. He was already on the bench in the competition, he will also be in the game against Šibenik, says sports director.
I am very pleased to be in Istra. I started training and yesterday I watched the game against Dinamo from the bench. The team gave good resistance to Dinamo, it is a pity that we did not score because we were on the right track. I will do my best to help the team achieve its goals and I will do my best, says Joao.
