The presentation of the new coach of Istra 1961 took place today. The press conference was attended by the president of the club Branko Devide Vincenti, sports director Dario Dabac and coach Gonzalo Garcia.
We are glad to have coach Gonzalo Garcia with us, who is a well-known player with coaching experience abroad. We expect a new energy, a positive impulse and we believe that with his help we will achieve the set goal, which is to achieve the best possible placement in the league, says club president Branko Devide Vincenti.
We are extremely pleased that the new coach is with us. He is a young and potent coach who has experience working in the Netherlands. We think we are doing a good team and that is why we were looking for a coach who can lead the team on the right path. We are glad that he is here and that he will work with us for the next year, says sports director Dario Dabac.
I am happy to be in Istra. This is a nice opportunity for mutual growth, this is a club with ambition and I am pleased with the opportunity I was given. As a coach, I started my career in Denmark and later continued in the Netherlands. I thinks this is a good step for me and my team, and so for the club. I strive for a good atmosphere in the team, work and ultimately grow in the league, says coach Gonzalo Garcia.
