Today, a press conference was held ahead of the fourth round match of the SuperSport Croatian Football League with Osijek, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 6, starting at 9:00 p.m. At the conference, head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Lovro Majkić announced the match.
On Saturday we play with a strong team. I expect a demanding match, but I hope that we will be more competitive now with additional reinforcements than in previous matches. We mustn’t relax on the pitch, we have to press hard and be ourselves. Osijek is currently in a demanding position, and now they are going for all or nothing. I want us to achieve our identity and our own game on the field in order to make it as difficult as possible for them, said coach Garcia at the conference.
Three games are behind us and we haven’t taken any points, but we are training hard and can and must do better in this game. I think we are physically ready for Osijek. This will be a strong and difficult game for both teams, and the one who wants it more will win – I honestly think it’s us. Beljo and Mierez could be unpleasant for me, but I am ready for my first match with Osijek – said Lovro.
