A press conference was held today ahead of the match of the 3rd round HT First League, between Rijeka and Istra 1961. The match is scheduled for tomorrow, August 29, starting at 5:55 pm at Rujevica.
The press conference was attended by head coach Fausto Budicin and player Adrian Fuentes.
We all know that points are very necessary for us and them. I will not deal with statistics and the past. The championship started two rounds ago, we are in the situation we are in and every game is an opportunity for us to win as many points as possible. We need to respect each opponent, but primarily look at ourselves. We have certain goals and a certain quality, and we are looking at tomorrow’s game with optimism, – says coach Fausto Budicin.
I haven’t been in training for a long time due to injury, but I’m fine now and I finally feel like part of the team again. I’m not in one hundred percent yet, but I’m very close. I played a few minutes of the game against Dinamo, which meant a lot to me, because I had a huge desire to come back. I believe that my self-confidence will return little by little. – says the Fuentes player.
