A press conference was held today ahead of the match of the 4th round HT 1. league, between Istra 1961 and Varaždin. The match is scheduled for this Sunday, Sept. 13, beginning at 5 p.m.
The press conference was attended by head coach Fausto Budicin and player Lovro Majkić.
Tomorrow we expect Varaždin who will want to take points on Drosina. We know what the situation is like, we know that we did not enter the championship in a good way and that we are not in a good position, but it is time to start winning points. I expect a difficult match tomorrow, but we are looking positively and we hope for a change of mood and points balance, says coach Budicin.
Tomorrow is our most important game so far. Although Varaždin is not Hajduk, Rijeka or Dinamo, there is still no relaxing. We will do our best and go for the victory, says player Majkić.
