The Management Board of the Istra 1961 Football Club sends its sincere thanks to all employees, players and coaches of the club, on the occasion of accepting the Management Board’s decision on the necessary salary reduction until the end of the 2019/2020 competition season.

This decision was necessary in order to preserve stability and liquidity in times of great crisis in Croatia caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

First of all, the decisions on the proportional reduction of salaries were made bearing in mind all the difficulties that the economic crisis will bring to economic entities now and in the coming period, and which will also affect football clubs.

With these measures, the club’s management wants to protect all jobs and ensure the conditions for regular payment of salaries to all workers, coaches and players, and avoid all possible decisions to reduce the number of workers in this difficult period.

Thank you to everyone who, with an understanding of the difficult and uncertain situation, accepted the decision of the club’s management.
