Today we presented new coach of Istra 1961. The press conference was attended by sports director Dario Dabac and coach Danijel Jumić.
I am glad that Danijel Jumić is with us, whom we choose as a permanent coach, not as a temporary one. A man we trust and with whom we think we will get that little difference we missed to have a more successful result. He chose his staff, the people from the club, our story continues and we think we can only hope for better. – says sports director Dario Dabac.
My professional staff will be Ivan Lajtman as the first assistant coach, the second assistant coach will be Goran Roce. Nina Grebenar will be a conditioning coach, Daniel Frančišković an analyst who will also be involved in the work, Fedor Kulušić also a conditioning coach and Tihomir Bulat a goalkeeper coach.
I have a good insight into the condition of the team, I followed the first team and was present here. I took over the team in good energy, good work and good physical condition. We have a much better playing staff than at the beginning of the season, we have breadth and I fully believe in our players, and now it is up to them to prove themselves and choose their minutes. I am only interested in quality work in training and quality in the game. I have my hands open regarding everything and I am extremely honored to have been given this opportunity. – says coach Danijel Jumić.
