A press conference was held today ahead of the match of the 9th round between Slaven Belupo and Istra 1961. The match is scheduled for this Saturday, September 18, starting at 17:00.
The press conference was attended by head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Slavko Blagojevic.
Tomorrow we will have a difficult match against a difficult opponent. They have a strong team and a new coach, they will surely fight for points. I think it will be a physically strong game, but from our side we want to have a strong focus and control the game, be aggressive and attack, says coach Gonzalo Garcia.
Expectations are positive as always. I hope we play a good game and come home with points. It is always a hard visit to Koprivnica, now they have a new coach and they certainly have a great motive. The duel game will mean a lot, we have to be good there and when we have the ball in possession we have to use our opportunity, says captain Slavko Blagojević.
