A press conference was held today ahead of the match of the 22nd round HT First League between Istra 1961 and Varaždin. The match is scheduled for this Saturday, Feb. 20, beginning at 3 p.m. The press conference was attended by coach Danijel Jumić and player Josip Tomašević.
We expect a very demanding match. Our competition team and our direct competitor are coming. We know their strengths and weaknesses, well just prepared and what is very important is how we look through the week in training. The energy is good, the players work very well, they accept the ideas we put in front of them well. We have quality, we worked well and we hope that the points will stay in Pula, says coach Jumić.
It is important for us to start with everyone giving their maximum. As for me personally, and I believe the rest of the team, I am not interested in anything other than 3 points. We know that Varaždin is good, as well as all teams in the first league, but we will look after ourselves and tomorrow we will go for three points, says Josip Tomašević.
