Ten of our young players returned from Vitoria with great experience and full of impressions!
Luka Tomić Raul Kumar, Matija Kablar, Marko Uljanić, Diego Saina, Nik Škafar Žužić, Rio Joka, Petar Jelavić, Endi Veljačić and Ivano Maksić spent 10 days with the Deportivo Alaves academy under the leadership of the development coordinator of our youth school, Andro Fistonić.
On the first day of the trip, our green and yellows landed in Bilbao and headed to the ‘Residence’ where the rest of the children from Alaves and Baskonia live. The second day was marked by a visit to the Deportivo Alaves Academy, their training and official premises, where the head of the Academy, Mr. Sevillano, explained to our players the importance of their visit.
In addition to training sessions and expert guidance, the players also visited the Mendizorrotza stadium, the city of Vitoria and the Fan shop, the Fernando Buesa arena where Baskonia’s basketballers play, and the Bakh sports center. In the Bakh complex, the boys put on ice skates and tried their hand at ice hockey, later basketball, and in addition to having fun, they got to know other sports as well.
In addition to daily soccer training on the field, socializing continued in the exterior complex with additional interesting activities, and the players liked the trampolines the most.
