Today, a press conference was held ahead of the match of the seventh round of the SuperSport Croatian Football League against Gorica, which is scheduled for Friday, August 26, starting at 20:00. The match was announced at the conference by head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Monsef Bakrar.
We are traveling to Gorica for a match against a strong and quality team. I think that in the games last season we were quite competitive, both them and us, so the games were often equal. So I expect a demanding match considering the virus that is still present among our players, but we are going there for three points, said coach Garcia at the press conference.
We prepared for this match as hard as usual. We are going to Gorica to get three points, despite the illness that is still in our team. The guys are really fighting and I want us to go there to prove ourselves. In my opinion, the HNL league is quite aggressive and fast, but we try to compete with both smaller and bigger opponents, said Monsef.
