A press conference was held today ahead of the first round match of the SuperSport Croatian Football League, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 17, starting at 9:00 p.m. At the conference, head coach Gonzalo Garcia and player Mauro Perković announced the match.
Tomorrow we start with the championship against one of the best teams in the country. We believe that the support and the atmosphere will be great, which is a good, but again a demanding way to start the competition. We must not let them get too comfortable on the field, and we must be sharper and more aggressive with the ball. I also expect that Hajduk will make it as difficult as possible for us tomorrow, so we have to be ready for more changes during the match, said coach Garcia.
We have gone through some difficult preparations and are ready for tomorrow’s match. We expect an excellent opponent, who also fought for the Croatian champion. We are training harder this year and we are full in all positions. We are a young team and our biggest advantage is team play, said Mauro at the conference.
