Today, a press conference was held on the occasion of the presentation of two new players of Istra 1961, namely Prince Mumba, Ante Erceg and one who is returning – Facundo Caseres. At the conference, they were presented by the sports director, Mr. Saša Bjelanović.
I thank everyone who came to the presentation of our new players. Prince is coming as an A member of the Zambia national team, a midfielder that we have been trying to bring for some time, but we were waiting for a visa solution. Extremely big-hearted, combative and dedicated to the team – he will surely bring one more quality to the midfield. Ante Erceg, on the other hand, is a better known name. Ante is a leader and has good toys and human qualities. With his way of training and his relationship with his teammates, I think he will be extremely useful for us. As for Facundo, in the last season he improved significantly and showed his work and quality. We are extremely glad that he is here because he is a player who knows the coach and the players, and he will certainly raise the quality of our team, Mr. Bjelanović addressed the conference.
My arrival in Istria went well, I am happy to be here and I still have to adapt to the different culture and environment. “I play as a midfielder and I hope to contribute to the team this season, said Prince.
I am very glad that I became a player for Istria and I would like to thank Mr. Saša for insisting on me. I want to help the team in its goals and I hope that we will all rise to a higher level together. I did the preparatory training with my home coach at the home club RNK Split, for which I am extremely grateful, said Ante.
I am happy to be here again and I want to achieve my individual and team goals. I am physically ready because I trained in Argentina all the time, until I arrived in Istria. I hope for a good season and to continue the good path I started last season, said Facundo at the conference.
