Today, a press conference was held on the occasion of the presentation of two new players of Istra 1961, namely Monsef Bakrar and Advan Kadušić. At the conference, they were presented by the sports director, Mr. Saša Bjelanović.
Monsef, a player who comes to us from Algeria and this is his first experience outside his homeland. He came as a free player and will play in the striker position. He is a young and powerful attacker, and I am glad that we registered him in time for him to be available for the next match. As for Advan, he is a player who participated with the A national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and possesses the qualities we are looking for. He terminated his contract with his previous club and now he needs some time to get used to Istra and the tam after the break he had, and to prepare physically for the season, Mr. Bjelanović said at the conference.
I’m happy to be here with you! Thanks to the entire staff for accepting me right away and I hope we will have a successful season. My main position is as a striker, I primarily rely on my right leg, Monsef said.
I would first like to thank the club and Saša for their trust. I want to show my best and I will do my best to prepare as well as possible for the season and be available to the coach and the entire staff. I play on the right wing and that is my primary position, Advan said.
